You are wise to start here to do your research now and reserve a spot as soon as possible. Also, while the park is open year round, certain campgrounds are seasonal due to weather conditions.

Dorst Creek Campground
Dorst Creek Campground is located within Sequoia National Park. You must have a reservation before camping at Dorst Creek.
The campground is located off Generals Highway from either the south or north park entrance.
Weather Related Closure
Dorst Creek Campground is recovering from damages caused by prior winter storms. Contact the campground directly to confirm current conditions and when reservations are expected to reopen.
Campground Amenities
The campground is paved and relatively flat and level, accommodating wheelchair access.
RV Campsites Overview
There are 33 RV only sites. In addition, Dorst Creek offers 12 sites dedicated for tent camping, including walk-in campsites that offer the ultimate experience of solitude and peace.
Lemon Cove Village RV Park
Lemon Cove Village, a family-friendly RV park, is located approximately 25 miles from Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon National Park. This Good Sam Club park is near Kaweah Lake amongst the Sierra Nevada foothills.
Outdoor enthusiasts can visit Lemon Cove Village year round and enjoy a plethora of activities, including fishing, white water rafting, boating, and hiking.

Lemon Cove offers 60 campsites, including RV sites and tent sites. There are two larger tent sites dedicated for large groups.
Lodgepole Campground
Located along the banks of the scenic Marble Fork and Kaweah River, Lodgepole Campground is a park you should put at the top of your list of considerations for great places to stay.
You will have easy access to Lodgepole Village, which is a short walk of less than one mile away and offers a visitor center, gift shop, and general market.
Enjoy proximity to beautiful hiking trails such as Big Trees Trail, Tokopah Falls, and the trail to Moro Rock. You can also plan a nice trek to the Marble Fork of the Kaweah River, which offers a great spot for fly-fishing and spectacular views of the waterfall.

Enjoy shady sites under mature Oak trees. The campground accommodates RVs with a maximum length of 24 feet. There are 40 standard, non-electric sites, including two accessible sites.
Fire Restrictions
The weather in the foothills is often hot and dry, which increases risk of wildfire. Please always use the established campfire ring. Check with the park ranger, online, or campground bulletin boards for any fire restrictions before starting an open fire.
Riverbend RV Park
The 25-acre Riverbend RV Park is open year round and situated near Kings River. Campers enjoy beautiful grounds with tranquil streams and shade trees that are for RV or tent camping in the great outdoors.

Sequoia Resort & RV Park
One of the special designs offered at Sequoia Resort & RV Park is each RV site comes with a privacy wall. Relax and enjoy the shade from mature trees while enjoying your private, comfortable space in the outdoors.
While this resort only offers RV camping (no tent sites), there are fully furnished and equipped vacation rental units. So even if you don’t have an RV (yet), you can experience the tranquility and peaceful outdoors at the 377-acre Sequoia Resort.

Sequoia RV Park only accommodates full hookup compatible RVs at this time. No tent or car camping is allowed.
Sequoia RV Ranch
